Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Families Act of 2014 Goes Into Effect July 1, 2015

• New law requires most employers provide up to 24 hours (or 3 days) per year of paid sick leave to employees who work in California for 30 or more days within a year from commencement.
• Employers should begin posting and distributing this notice on or after January 1, 2015.
• In each workplace, the employer must display poster where employees can read it.
